HARD TO FIGHT NAKED…SEASON FOUR
Leo bought a ticket for her and journeyed back to Ghana the next day.
She logged in a hotel and called his brother to meet her and probably take her home.
Reluctantly, he went to see her in her hotel.
Welcome sister. Unhappily, he welcomed.
Kwame, I know you are mad at me, but I am here to make amends. She pleaded.
Can you take me home?
Unless I ask permission from my wife. He replied.
Wife? You got married without informing me? She nagged.
What did you expect, after ignoring my calls? He asked back.
Kwame, you could have at least sent me a text or voicemail. She stated.
It still doesn’t make any difference sister. You travelled and totally forgot about my welfare. You never cared nor anything. At a point, I asked myself if truly, we are blood related. I’m pained sister, I’m really pained. He bitterly spoke.
If not for my wife, I don’t know where I would have been by now. She saved me from suicide. Really, she did.
Wow. My very own brother, condemning me but praising another woman. I can’t wait to see this woman who has taken my queening place. I am almost jealous. Unhappily she spoke.
Shirley will be very happy to see you too, but I must first of all inform her of your arrival. He responded and grabbed his phone from his pocket.
Wait a minute Kwame! Did you say Shirley? Shirley what? Ohemaa questioned in fear.
Akua Shirley. He answered.
Hold it there! Is this supposed to be a coincidence or what?
Can I see her picture? She requested.
Kwame scrolled through his gallery and brought out Shirley’s picture.
God damn it! Ohemaa screamed and got up on her feet.
Shirley? My very own prostitute Shirley? Your wife? No! This must not happen!
Ohemaa calm down! What are you sweating about? And who is a prostitute? Kwame nervously questioned.
Kwame, your wife was my bestie in the States. She got deported for all the bad reasons. She was a drug addict, a prostitute and a murderer. You can’t stay married to her! No you can’t! She yelled.
Shirley? States? No Ohemaa, it must be a mistaken identity. Shirley has lived all her life in the village before travelling into this city to find another job with her farming proceeds. Her family was forcing her to marry a blind sick man, and she fled and fortunately landed in my life. She doesn’t even have a passport.
Sarcastically, Ohemaa burst into laughter.
Shirley still lied after everything? Gosh! Karma is her shadow! Ohemaa spoke.
She scrolled through her gallerly too, and showed pictures of Shirley and herself in a club. Pictures of Shirley and herself in an office. Whole lots of pictures.
Kwame felt dizzy but managed to keep still on his feet.
I can’t believe this. Why would she hide this from me? I must question her. He decided.
No Kwame, there is nothing to question her about. That lady can’t be a wife, no matter what. Simply divorce her. Ohemaa suggested.
Sister but why? How can I divorce her without hearing what her reasons are? He asked. Frankly, she’s been good to me, and I can’t let her go. Even though she lied to me, she might still have her reasons. As I speak to you, all her money is in my account. Such a generous woman. Kwame complimented.
And what if I give you 100000 dollars to divorce her? Ohemaa offered.
Kwame went concussed, hearing the amount of money involved.
Yes Kwame, a 100000 dollars to divorce your wife. Shirley convinced.
Ohemaa please don’t do this. I need that money, but not at the expense of my marriage. He pleaded.
Come on bro. He walked to him in the sofa and wrapped her arm around his neck.
It won’t be difficult. I will be here to help you frame her up. She whispered.
To be continued…
